Animal Capture tip:
It is also possible to capture animals already present on the player raft, it is far more easier than capture them on the wild. Capture an animal, release it on the raft, capture it again, repeat until no more canisters. Load save. My english is not good enough to explain it in the page of the wiki but someone could do it.
