The act of coming back to life in Raft.

Summary[edit | edit source]

There are different conditions in case of player death depending on the Game Mode chosen.

Creative[edit | edit source]

Player is immortal and cannot die.

Peaceful[edit | edit source]

If you respawn in Peaceful, your inventory is not lost. If you have a Simple Bed and respawn in it, you get up with 50% Hunger and Thirst, and 25% life. If you have a Hammock and respawn in it you get up with 75% Hunger and Thirst and 50% Life.

Easy[edit | edit source]

If you respawn in Easy your inventory is not lost, as with Peaceful. If you have a Simple Bed and respawn in it, you get up with 50% Hunger and Thirst, and 25% life. If you have a Hammock and respawn in it, you get up with 75% Hunger and Thirst and 50% life.

Normal[edit | edit source]

If you respawn in Normal your inventory is lost. If you have a Simple Bed and respawn in it, you get up with 50% Hunger and Thirst, and 25% life. If you have a Hammock and respawn in it, you get up with 75% Hunger and Thirst and 50% life.

Hard[edit | edit source]

Respawning alone on Hard mode is not possible. The player must be carried to a Simple Bed or Hammock by another player in order to be rescued. Getting up from a Simple Bed provides 50% Hunger and Thirst, and 25% life. Getting up from a Hammock provides 75% Hunger and Thirst, and 50% life.
