Proposing pages layout changes
Hey,

Till now, there was no style guide for layout of pages, meaning people could place disambigs anywhere, put message boxes everywhere, and we have problem of where to use See also. Because of this, i decided it is time to propose layout inclusion, so people will know how pages look, thus they may find the information faster.

Unfortunately, its effect may be pretty big, so for the first time, there will be a vote. The vote will be on at least for 7 days from today. People will be able to suggest improvements to this layout by editing the list below (by anybody, even not registered users, the requirement is just filling summary, when publishing an edit). For the vote, also anybody will can participate.

The suggested layout (here, you can edit it):

# Top of the page

## Deletion message box

## Maintaince Message boxes

## Message boxes in general

## Quotes (if possible)

## Navigation templates - See also

# Content area

## Infobox

## General description

## Headers (will be expanded about more sections for different page types)

# Footer

## Notes

## See also

## References

## Navboxes

## Disambig (if the page is a Disambiguation page)

# Additional (must be at the end of an article)

## Categories

## Interwikis (language links)

<!-- This is end of this list -->

You can vote under this message in sections Support, Oppose and Neutral. Please, add a reason of why do you support, or not support changes. --TreeIsLife (talk) 21:18, 7 April 2021 (UTC)

The reason was Rules were updated

I suggest rules to this wiki:

Raft Wiki is an online source of information about the video game Raft and related subjects. The wiki can be edited by anyone and is governed by the consensus of its users, derived by argument-supported, a civil collaboration between them. Raft Wiki has a set of rules all editors should normally follow.

  1. Do not vandalize, spam to this wiki.
  2. Keep your behavior civil and assume good behavior. Do not harass, stalk, or insult anyone.
  3. Avoid misleading readers. Make sure your contributions to articles are true (referenceable). Do not add speculation, parody content, or hoaxes to articles.
  4. This wiki is an official wiki, not fan-wiki. So, do not add links to fan communities or creations.
    1. Only exception is in cited references.
  5. Do not link or embed external videos in articles unless there is no other way to demonstrate the phenomenon or the video is official
  6. Accounts with offensive, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate usernames will be blocked indefinitely.

When you violate these rules, we will warn you about rules (except Rule#6). Thank you for following the rules.

Here are my suggested changes to the above rules:

Raft Wiki is an online source of information for the video game Raft and related subjects. The wiki can be edited by anyone and is governed through consensus among its users, based on argument-supported and civil collaboration. Raft Wiki has a set of rules all editors are expected to follow.

  1. Do not vandalize the wiki.
  2. Be civil and assume good behavior. Do not harass, stalk, or insult anyone.
  3. Avoid misleading readers. Make sure your contributions to articles are true (referenceable) and in the nature of the topic. Do not add speculation, parody content, or hoaxes to articles.
  4. This wiki is an official wiki. Do not add links to fan communities or creations (only exception is in cited references).
  5. Do not link or embed external videos in articles unless there is no other way to demonstrate the phenomenon, or the video is official.
  6. Accounts with offensive, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate usernames will be blocked indefinitely.

Any misconduct will result in a warning, followed by a ban with the exception of Rule #6, which is grounds for an immediate ban.

Thank you for following the rules.
