Summary
Planks appear in the ocean as Flotsam, in Loot Boxes (crates) or is cut from trees (cut it with a Stone Axe or Metal Axe). It's the most used Material in all of Raft, and is also used as a source of heat for cooking, smelting and purifying. It can also be used to power the engine. You can craft plank or put the plank into the Smelter or Engine or you can craft Research Table or other item.
Uses
Plank is used to craft most of the significant items in Raft.
