Events are random encounters in Raft.
Summary[ | ]
They consist of a variety of animals occasionally appearing around the raft. They do not currently have any impact on the game, but give the game life. Some of the sea animals have hitboxes and can be hurt with weapons, but they do not drop any loot.
A single event is spawned every 8-16 minutes (there can never be multiple simultaneous events), and will only spawn with 1-2 players on the raft.[note 1]
A lone whale, two turtles or stingray can be found swimming in the ocean, while a pod of three dolphins may visit the raft. Jellyfish are often seen in swarms around islands, while a colony of seagulls can be spotted flying over the raft from afar.
