Raft is currently in Early Access [1]
The game was released in Early Access on May 24th, 2018 on Steam.
Games which are in the Early Access Phase are still in development and far away from a final game. They can contain bugs, glitches, and much less content than a final game. On the other side, players can get involved into the game development, e.g. with suggesting new features or new content.
It is currently being updated slowly but regularly.
