The Banana Plant is an Environment object in Raft.
Summary[]

A Banana Plant on a Raft
Banana Plants can be found in the Plantation area of Tangaroa. When chopped down with an Axe, it will drop four Planks, and two Bananas. There's a small chance of receiving extra Bananas or even Banana Seeds when chopping down a Banana Plant. The seeds can be planted in Large Crop Plots to grow Banana Plants on the raft. After watering, it takes the Banana Plant 12 minutes to grow into a full size plant.
A Banana Plant is felled in five chops. Every chop is predetermined as to what it yields, except for extra Bananas and Banana Seeds which have a 26.8% chance of dropping from every chop. Chopping down a Banana Tree entirely yields an average of 1.34 seeds, with a 79% chance of yielding at least one seed.

Trivia[]
- Despite Bananas technically being a plant, the object acts much like a tree in Raft.
- In real life, cultivated bannanas are seedless and only ever grown from cuttings. Natural bananas are filled with huge seeds, and they are almost inedible.
