The Advanced Biofuel Refiner can be built after researching it using the Blueprint: Advanced Biofuel Refiner which is found on Temperance in the main dome of the Igloo Village. The Advanced Biofuel Refiner is an upgraded version of the Biofuel Refiner. Mixing Honey and raw food items in the Advanced Biofuel Refiner will result in Biofuel, which is used to power the Engine and Battery Charger.

Mix Raw Food and Honey to Create Biofuel
Stores Biofuel. Can be filled with up to 6 Biofuel.
Can be connected to Engines, Battery Chargers, and Biofuel Tanks via Fuel Pipes. It automatically dispenses fuel to these, keeping them at 100% capacity until the Advanced Biofuel Refiner is empty.
Can manually dispense Biofuel.

Mechanics[ | ]

The max capacity of the Advanced Biofuel Refiner is valued at 1200. The refiner can be filled up in a 1:1 ratio of Honey and raw food. A full refiner produces six biofuel. The refiner also has a barrel that can hold six biofuel, and it is automatically filled up by the refiner. The Player can extract the biofuel manually from the barrel or use fuel pipes to connect it directly to machines. Be aware that extracted biofuel cannot be placed back into the barrel, potentially leading up to a buildup of the biofuel item if the barrel is mistakenly interacted with.

While not food, animal heads can be used with honey to make fuel as well. These items provide much greater value per item than most raw foods.
